Search and Rescue WFR with CPR - 2.S.C-25.W

Welcome to Base Medical's Search and Rescue Wilderness First Responder course with Wilderness CPR, presented in partnership with the American Red Cross. This certification course is specifically designed for Search and Rescue responders who are obligated to deliver a professional service to the outdoor community. You will learn the basics of wilderness medical care, how to identify and stabilize life threatening issues, how to communicate mission critical information, patient packaging and evacuation considerations, and how to assist higher level care providers. The skills and knowledge you gain in course will be used to enhance the well-being of your subjects and team.

The Certification Process:

1. Complete the 20 hours of online wilderness medical lessons and take the competency exam at the end
2. Complete the American Red Cross and Wilderness CPR online lessons
3. Attend the hands-on training, either in-person or via Zoom
4. Take the online final exam
